To accommodate the extra passenger traffic expected during Rakshabandhan and Independence Day 2025, special trains will run between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) in Mumbai and Madgaon Junction in Goa.

One set of special trains, numbered 01125 and 01126, has been scheduled around Independence Day. Train 01125 will leave LTT at 10:15 PM on August 14 (Thursday) and reach Madgaon at 12:45 PM the following day. Its return journey, Train 01126, will depart from Madgaon at 1:40 PM on August 15 (Friday) and arrive back at LTT by 4:05 AM the next morning.

These trains will pass through several important stations, including Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Chiplun, Ratnagiri and Karmali, among others. They will feature 22 LHB coaches, including 1 First AC, 3 AC 2-tier, 7 AC 3-tier, 8 sleeper coaches, a pantry car, and generator cars to ensure passenger comfort.
