A man allegedly killed his friend on the eve of his wedding in Maharashtra's Beed district. According to the police, the accused committed the crime because he feared that the victim would disrupt the ceremony over an unpaid debt of Rs 1.5 lakh, news agency PTI reported.
The victim, Chand, also known as Guddu Tamboli (30), was found bludgeoned to death during the early hours of Monday on the outskirts of Khokarmoh village in Shirur Kasar tehsil.
