FYJC admission update: 3.48 lakh students get junior college allotments

Under the "Open to All" round held on August 4 and 5, students could newly register, edit their application forms, apply if they passed the supplementary exam and submit preference orders. In this round, 3,81,420 students finalised their preferences. Out of these, 22,855 did so under the management quota, and 8,431 under the minority quota

As part of the admission cycle for Class 11 (FYJC) for the academic year 2025–26, the government introduced an "Open to All" round on August 4 and 5, 2025.

During this phase, students were allowed to complete new registrations, make corrections to existing applications, fill out forms after passing supplementary exams, and submit their preference order of colleges and streams.

A total of 3,81,420 students finalised their preferences during this round. Of these, 22,855 students applied under the management quota, while 8,431 students did so under the minority quota. In terms of stream preference, Science emerged as the most popular choice with 1,75,334 students opting for it, followed by Arts (96,003) and Commerce (77,447).
