Jammu and Kashmir: Indian Army celebrates Diwali at LoC in Akhnoor

Indian Army soldiers celebrated Diwali along the Line of Control (LoC) in Akhnoor by lighting diyas, bursting crackers, and praying for the nation’s peace. BSF officers at the Attari border also marked the festival with devotion and joy, celebrating away from their families for India’s safety

The Indian Army soldiers on Sunday celebrated Diwali by bursting firecrackers and lighting earthen lamps in the Akhnoor sector along the Line of Control (LoC).

During the Diwali celebrations, Indian Army officers also offered prayers for the well-being of the country. As the whole country celebrates the festival of lights, the Indian armed forces continue to observe the festival in other parts of the country too.
