i20 Diesel launched at Advaith Hyundai

Hyundai Motor India Ltd is revving up the Indian compact car market with a diesel offering of its premium compact hatchback, the i20. The i20 was launched at Advaith Hyundai, Sarjapur Road showroom, the biggest Hyundai showroom in India. The launch was done by the chief guest, Y S Kim, zone manger southern region, HMIL, in the course of an event called 'Diesel Dazzle', where the launch coincided with an electrifying fashion show by Prasad Bidappa, featuring fashion-wear crafted by Abraham and Thakore, Arabella, Arugam Bay, Tamanna and Amanda. The ramp was scorched by renowned models like Roshan Isaac, Archana Kesari, Niharika Nag and others.u00a0The new i20 comes with a 1.4L CRDi engine with a maximum power of 90PS@4000 RPM and a peak torque of 22.4kgm@1750~2750 RPM. The engine delivers unmatched power, best-in-class torque, class leading technology and excellent fuel efficiency. With the launch of i20 diesel, Hyundai plans to tap the vast potential that exists in the diesel car segment in India.
