A 15-year-old girl died by suicide at her house in Sector 14 of Faridabad, police said on Thursday, adding that the girl may have had mental illness.

According to the police, the girl's family members said that she had been undergoing treatment for a long time, reported PTI.

She was studying in Class 10 of a private school. On Wednesday, after returning home from school, she took the extreme step when she was alone in the house.
