Delhi’s air quality remained in the ‘very poor’ category on Monday morning, with the overall Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 318 as of 7 a.m., according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).

A dense layer of smog covered several parts of the city, showing little to no improvement in the hazardous air. Areas such as Anand Vihar, India Gate, Dwarka, and ITO reported thick haze early in the morning, reducing visibility significantly. The CPCB noted that large sections of the National Capital continued to experience very poor air quality, reported news agency ANI.
