The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday said that seizures related to Bihar Election 2025 and by-polls have crossed Rs 100 crore, with enforcement teams stepping up action against illicit inducements across the state.
According to a press note issued by the poll body, illegal items worth Rs 108.19 crore have been seized as on Monday. These include cash worth Rs 9.62 crore, 9.6 lakh litres of liquor worth Rs 42.14 crore, drugs valuing Rs 24.61 crore, precious metals worth Rs 5.8 crore, and other freebies which value more than Rs 26 crore.
