Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leader Ambadas Danve on Friday demanded that the Maharashtra Crime Investigation Department (CID) must disclose the details coming out in the probe into the murder of Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh.
According to news agency PTI, the Maharashtra Legislative Council Leader of Opposition stated that the trials in both the murder case and the related extortion case, in which Walmik Karad, a close associate of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Minister Dhananjay Munde, has been arrested, should be conducted outside Beed district.
