'Country is young, so is BJP’s national president’: Anurag Thakur on Nitin Nabin

As the BJP starts the process to elect its new national president, senior leaders have submitted nomination papers for 45-year-old working president Nitin Nabin. Party leaders say the move reflects the BJP’s focus on youth leadership and organisational strength

As BJP begins the process for electing its new national chief, senior party leaders on Monday have started to submit their nomination papers for its 45-year-old working president, Nitin Nabin. The party on Monday said that the move sends a clear message that “the country is young, and so is the BJP’s president”, news agency IANS reported.

Speaking to the media on Monday, party MP Anurag Thakur said, “The BJP is the world’s largest political party, and it is also set to give the country one of the youngest national presidents."
