Pharma firm’s finance president steps down, cites Delhi pollution for decision

Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited has informed the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) that its president (finance), Rajkumar Bafna, has resigned from his position with effect from December 31.

In a regulatory filing to NSE and BSE under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, the company said Bafna stepped down citing “personal reasons”. The company added that it has accepted his resignation and relieved him from his duties with effect from December 31.
