Nashik (Maha): Two labourers were on Wednesday killed when gelatin-sticks used for digging a bore well exploded in the district, police said.


The incident took place at 7.30 am at drought-hit Naygavhan-Shivar in Yeola tehsil when the duo was digging a bore-well, S H Sheikh, in-charge, Yeola police station said.



Two gelatin sticks, which were used for the digging, suddenly exploded killing Patchu Gujar (45) and Mahadu Bhilla, both hailing from Bhilwara district in Rajasthan, Sheikh said, adding an accidental case has been registered.
