Ever got lost in the myriad corridors and rooms of the Sassoon General Hospital? Do not fret. For soon the hospital will put up maps at various spots on its premises to guide you through the labyrinth.

And the brains facilitating this endeavour are the civil engineering students from College of Engineering Pune (COEP), who as part of their Entrepreneurship Week will prepare the maps.

About 15 maps will be put up at various spots within the premises. "The map will be in the form of flexes and will have location details of each department and building including the place it will be placed," said Tanveer Shemna, a third-year student, who is part of the entrepreneur cell.

He said it would be a big relief to those visiting the hospital. The students are selling the maps to the hospital at a minimal price.

The students are currently giving the final touches to the map plan and will put it up sometime next week.

Anurag Chandak said it took the students a day to survey the hospital and another couple of days to make it.

"The students had to thoroughly study the hospital because of its big structure and we did not want to make any mistakes. About 15 students from the civil engineering department have worked on the map," said Shemna.
