A slight intensity earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale tonight hit Nicobar Islands

New Delhi: A slight intensity earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale tonight hit Nicobar Islands.

According to the Meteorological department, earthquake of magnitude 4.4 occurred at 22:54 hours at Nicobar Islands.

There was no report of any damage or casualty due to the tremor so far.
