Khan was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he is been undergoing treatment. Doctors said pieces of metal, which flung in the air after the explosion took place, inflicted serious injuries on Khan’s.
Soon after the blast, a number of senior police officials, including Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), Crime branch and officials from the Vishrantwadi police station rushed to the spot to assess the situation.
