The dust has finally settled over the 40-day long battle. Both, the management of Rosary School and parents of students have accepted the revised fee structure proposed by the education directorate.

The dust has finally settled over the 40-day long battle. Both, the management of Rosary School and parents of students have accepted the revised fee structure proposed by the education directorate.

A settlement was arrived at after a tripartite meeting among the school management, parents and director of education board yesterday.

MiD DAY had first reported about the illegal fee hike in this school and followed up the issue consistently.

Director of Education Balchandra Bhesle said the school has been allowed to hike a minimal amount required to pay teachers' revised salaries.
