The rupee on Wednesday gained 10 paise against the US currency in early trade on capital inflows into the stock markets.

Dealers said fresh capital inflows into equities by foreign funds mainly supported the Indian rupee. The US currency fell against major world currencies which lifted the rupee sentiment, they added.
