Sadiq Batcha, a close associate of former Union communications minister A Raja and under the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) scanner in the 2G spectrum scam, died here on Wednesday afternoon, officials at Apollo Hospital here said.
The CBI had raided Batcha's company Green House Promoters and house in connection with the money trail of the 2G spectrum scam.
Former minister Raja's wife was a director in Green House Promoters.
