Awestruck by Aamir Khan's eight packs, which he flaunted in his latest flick Ghajini, Puneities too are now keen on getting a toned body. But unlike Khan, they are opting for easier ways to get rid of the excess fat.

Hoards of youngsters can be seen swarming in at beauty clinics to get plastic surgery done to attain the coveted eight pack abs. While the number of people approaching government hospitals has increased to a certain extent, the business of private practitioners has shot up substantially.

"Even men want to look beautiful these," said Dr R Gandhi, president of Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (Pune unit). He even said that men in the age group of 18 to 23 are spending loads of money to breast reduction programs.

Dr Abhishesh Ghosh, junior consultant at Poona Hospital, said, "Around 25 people visited the hospital last year to get six-pack abs. Also, there were several of them who wanted to get their nose rectified." He added that the number of women opting of plastic surgery has gone up these days but what's striking is that men too are now walking on the same lines.
