Sandeep Dharma, CEO, Loop Lounge, who had to cancel a modelling event called Face Hunt due to the swine flu situation, says youngsters are coming back. "We are holding the event on Monday now. We expect to draw back youngsters who had withdrawn due to the H1N1 scare," said Dharma.
Restobar, North Main Mediterranean, had also cancelled a lot of gigs because the footfalls had fallen by around 40 per cent. "I am planning to re-schedule everything, as we expect the footfalls to improve by around 70 per cent this week," said Sandy Singh, owner of Main Mediterranean.
Shailendra Kekade, executive chef and GM, Stone Water Grill, expects business, which had dropped by 80 per cent, to improve this weekend. "We are not, however, planning anything special because our regular fare keepsu00a0 guests coming back for more," said Kekade.
Party time
Makupalli Sreenu, an insurance executive with Capita, is all set to chill out this weekend. "I have never been so bored. This weekend, I will party like crazy. Also, I am desperately waiting to watch Kaminey. It's been days since I saw a good movie," he said.
Another partygoer, Riteish Ghole, a TYBCom student, said, "It feels like being released after being in confinement for two weeks. Finally, this weekend, it's going to be party time for me. I will however not forget to take necessary precautions."
