Along with Inspector LY Rajesh, a group of 50 people including some prominent people from the area, social activists, religious leaders and celebrities approached residents in teams of two and three, and urged them to maintain peace and brotherhood.
Rajesh said, "Our peace procession was a huge success. The locals cooperated with us and hence, no incident of violence took place in the area."
Kannada actor Srinagar Kitty, said, "Being responsible citizens, its our duty to ensure that there's harmony in the society."
Similar were the thoughts of Sandalwood actors Dwarakeesh, Yash and Chandu who participated in the peace initiative.
