Pathak reacted strongly over the PMC being blamed for the non-functional CCTV cameras. “Don’t blame PMC as CCTV cameras are not our responsibility. Security is a police concern and the government should do funding. We are going out of the way and working for the police. The CCTV at J M Road was only for traffic violation detection purposes,” Pathak said.

He admitted that only one CCTV camera installed at Balgandharv junction for traffic surveillance purposes was not functioning, which would be rectified after getting approval in the municipal standing committee meeting. u00a0
