In the latest case, they spit on a man and escape with Rs 1 lakhA crook spat on a young man and sped away with his bag containing Rs 1 lakh.The incident took place at the entrance of ING Vysya Bank on Wheeler's Road on Tuesday afternoon when Narasimha (22), an office boy at Shiradi Sai Developers, was going to deposit the money.Narasimha said there were many people around but the muggers sped away on a bike before they could even realise that a crime had been committed. Narasimha tried to chase the bikers, but in vain. Without realising that the backseat window was open, Meghana got out to check. She returned to find her handbag containing medical apparatus, Rs 2,000 and credit and debit cards missing.When she requested the bank to freeze her accounts, she was told that the crooks had already spent Rs 25,000.Puke and dupeLast month, a similar con was pulled off in Richmond Road, where a youth puked on a man who had justu00a0 withdrawn Rs 1 lakh from a bank. When the victim,u00a0 Neelkantha, went to a nearby tea stall, the youth's associate, a 12 year-old-boy swiped the briefcase that had the money, and ran towards a bike. Riding the bike was the youth who had puked on Neelkantha.u00a0 The two sped away.
