A businessman was allegedly kidnapped by four men, thrashed for hours and robbed of his high end SUV, cash and other valuables in South Delhi's Vasant Kunj area on late Monday night

A businessman was allegedly kidnapped by four men, thrashed for hours and robbed of his high end SUV, cash and other valuables in South Delhi's Vasant Kunj area on late Monday night.

The victim, Jitendra Negi, has a shipping business and lives with his family in Vasant Kunj. He was attacked on his way back home in his car around 11.30 pm by four men who stopped him in Mahipalpur area.


Thereafter, he was allegedly driven around the city for the next four hours during which he was kept at gunpoint and thrashed by the robbers. According to reports, they snatched his ATM cards, iPhone and Macbook and allegedly withdrew Rs 1.07 lakh using his cards.

He was finally 'pushed off the running car' on the Shadipur Flyover. where he tried for help from some people on the road, but they refused to help.

He was rescued by a PCR van which he spotted on the same road.
