Although she gave him the benefit of doubt that the compartment was crowded, people in the coach started heckling her saying she should have boarded the ladies compartment instead of the general. She shot back saying the general compartment can be used by anyone and it is not just for men. The alleged molester pretended to take the woman’s side asking her who is bothering her to which she replied and asked him to not interfere.

A few moments after the argument, the man groped her again and she caught his fingers, pulled him away and confronted him. But she alleged that nobody came to help her and accused her of creating a fuss in the train. The woman then shot a video of the man and raised an alarm while alighting at Nahur, but still no one helped her. Later she found two policewomen at the platform and narrated the incident to them. The cops told her that she should have beaten up the man whereas their male colleague who was standing with them said that it would difficult to find him as he looked like a regular office goer and not a history-sheeter.

The woman filed an FIR against the man at Kurla GRP chowki. No arrests have been made yet as the police said that they are still looking for the accused.
