Mobile shop robbed

Gang of 8 strikes in Jehangirpuri

A gang of eight robbers attacked a mobile shop late Sunday night in Jehangirpuri area. The incident was reported around 10 pm when Rajesh Kumar was about to close his mobile phone shop. Suddenly 7-8 armed men barged into his shop and started thrashing him and his younger brother.

"My shop is located in the Mahindra Park area of Jehangirpuri. We were wrapping up the day's work when 7-8 men armed with pistols and knives barged into my shop. The attackers started hitting me and my brother and asked us to take out the cash. We gave them the keys to the safe. They took away a gold chain, 1.5 lakh rupees and 6 mobile phones.
