If you work at a place like this, it's unlikely that you'll have to drag yourself to work every day. The Capital is a fancy commercial complex expected to come up in Bandra-Kurla Complex early next year, backed by the The Wadhwa Group. With the belief that size matters, it will stand 19 floors above the ground, and six levels below.

What was supposed to resemble an egg, now looks like an egg-in-a-box (the architectural plan was altered when the builders realised they could enjoy extra FSI if a box structure was added).

When the 11 lakh sq ft complex is ready, it will be one of the world's largest in terms of parking space offered, with room for 1,078 cars. A fully-automated car park, four entry gates, four staircases and 18 elevators, excluding two reserved for fire-fighting, make this one an architectural anaconda.

The highlights include an in-house restaurant, and restrooms fitted with special mirrors that flash a comprehensive medical report of the person standing in front of them; pulse rate, and blood pressure included.
An in-built sewage treatment plant will help save water since treated recycled water from the plant can be used for flushing and gardening.

The star attractionu00a0-- a giant, oval LCD screen on the facade (see pic above)u00a0-- is one the builders hope they will acquire permission for.u00a0
