A nine-year-old girl was raped in South Delhi's Sarojini Nagar area, police said on Friday.

The victim is a resident of Pilanji village in the area. She was taken to the Safdarjung Hospital where doctors after her medical examination have confirmed rape.
She was raped by a resident of the same village on Thursday night, police said.
A case has been registered and police are investigating into the matter.
