The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation's (NMMC) health department said that they had issued around 1 lakh pamphlets apprising people of precautions to avoid various water-borne diseases this season.u00a0
“The monsoons always see a rise in communicable diseases. We had issued pamphlets besides we have been appealing to people to clean society water tanks regularly before the rainy season. We have also warned them about eating food from vendors outside,” said a senior health official from the NMMC health department.
