Kathua rape accused to file plea for CBI probe

The accused in the Kathua rape-and-murder case will file a fresh petition in the Supreme Court (SC) in the next few days, seeking handing over of the probe to the CBI.

The apex court had on Monday directed that the trial in the case of alleged gangrape and murder of an eight-year-old girl, be moved to Pathankot in neighbouring Punjab.
