Twelve people were killed and several others injured when their bus rolled down into a gorge on the Jammu-Katra Highway at Panthal, 40 km from here, on Wednesday.

The bus was on its way to Katra when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it fell into the gorge at Panthal in Reasi district at 7.50 am, Katra DSP Jugal Kishore said. Rescue operation is on in the area.
