Jt CP Alok Kumar held discussions with senior cops of Kerala police; six flight tickets booked for the team that may bring Madani to the city today
Amid suspense over the arrest of People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader Abdul Nasser Madani in the Bangalore blasts case, city's Joint Police Commissioner Alok Kumar reached Kerala yesterday. Kumar held a series of discussions with senior officials of the Kerala police.
The arrival of Kumar along with Deputy Commissioner Omkarayya fuelled speculation that the PDP leader's arrest is imminent.

It is known that the state police have booked six flight tickets to bring Madani to the city today.
Meanwhile, in a telephonic interview with MiD DAY, Madani claimed that he's being politically framed.

Even this time I'm sure that I'll get acquitted, as I have faith in the Indian Constitution and judiciary."
Earlier, Madani's lawyer said that he would surrender before the magistrate court in Kollam district, which is the court nearest to his ancestral house.
