Husband, in-laws hang woman for not bearing child

A woman, whose husband and in-laws were purportedly upset with her for not being able to bear a child, was allegedly hanged at Bhokaheri village here.

In the FIR, the deceased's father Naresh has alleged that Gudiya (28) was murdered by her husband Manoj Kumar and his family members yesterday, police said.u00a0

Her body was later found hanging from the roof of their house, police said.

The accused are absconding, police said, adding that the body has been sent for post-mortem.
