"Advanced rifles will be given to RPF personnels and about 2,000 railway cops will be imparted with commando level training to counter any such attack in future," said Narayan Rathwa, minister of state for railways.
He added that the trained cops would be posted at locations from where they can reach any place in quickest possible time during emergency.
Garib Rath
Rathwa was in the city yesterday to flag off the Garib Rath. The 15-coach 2113 Garib Rath will have 13 three-tier AC coaches and two luggage-cum AC generator cars and will run from Pune on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays while from Nagpur (2114) on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

The train, which will start from Pune will halt at Daund, Ahmednagar, Manmad, Bhusaval, Akola, Badnera, Wardha and Nagpur railway stations.
