Delhi Police's Crime Branch has busted a call girl racket in south Delhi, with the arrest of five people including a pimp. DCP Ashok Chand said all the culprits are from Uzbekistan.
The official said that they were operating out of a rented accommodation which cost them Rs 35,000 per month. They had been shifting places to avoid police action. They were being hired mostly for rave parties. All the five girls have been living in India for the past two years.

"Our head constable Amit Tomar had a tip-off that a high profile call girl racket involving foreign nationals is being run at Udai Park in south Delhi area.
The information was developed and a special team was formed to bust the gang. Police talked to the pimp and a deal was struck and a decoy was sent in," said the DCP.
The official further added that the pimp called the police official to meet at Udai Park for advance payment. The woman demanded Rs 50,000 and the decoy made the payment in full.
"The police official was then taken to the first floor of a nearby house where the girls lived. As per instructions other officials conducted a raid immediately and arrested four call girls and the woman pimp," said a senior police official.u00a0u00a0
All the five were interrogated and it came to light that they came to India on Multiple Entry Visa around two years ago and since then they have been living in the Capital.
The girls and pimp used to operate from south Delhi and would change their rented accommodation to give the cops a slip. They had been living in Udai Park area for the last six months.

Five foreign nationals were arrested by Crime Branch for allegedly running a sex racket in Lajpat Nagar area of southeast Delhi in the month of February. The accused allegedly charged thousands of rupees from their customers. Their pimp stayed in the same area and the police claimed that she had customers all over the Capital. "The accused were living a luxurious life after coming on a tourist visa of 2-6 months duration.
When they go back, they purchase leather goods and garments as these fetch them a profit in their countries," said DCP (Crime), Ashok Chand. "A decoy customer was sent to the pimp who demanded Rs 30,000 per night. One of our team members paid her Rs 5,000 and she took him inside the premises following which a raid was conducted and the accused were arrested," the DCP said.
"The pimp has been shifting her base in the Capital frequently to avoid detection. She has been putting up at a rented accommodation in Lajpat Nagar-I which cost her more than Rs 28,000 per month. Some girls stay with her and some stay in another rented accommodation at Jangpura Extension for Rs 25,000 per month," Chand said.
