Forensic experts have been called on Tuesday to investigate a blast that took place at a Muslim shrine complex in Haryana's Jind town, an official said.

The incident took place late Monday night in Jind, located 200 km from state capital Chandigarh.

The blast led to the collapse of a wall of the madrassa (Muslim religious school) at the Idgah shrine complex.

No casualties were reported.

District administration and police officials rushed to the spot following the blast.

"We do not know so far what caused the blast. The forensic experts will examine this," a police official said.
