A building in Mumbai's famous Crawford market caught fire last night; however no casualties were reported.

A major fire broke out in a building last night in the famous Crawford Market of Mumbai.




There are no reports of any casualty, officials said.


Eight fire tenders have been rushed to the spot to battle the blaze in Fatima Manzil in the market near Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) in south Mumbai, an official of the city disaster management said.

The fire broke out around 9 pm last night and the cause is yet to be ascertained.
