A fire broke out in Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in east Delhi today, a fire service official said.

Fire breaks out in east Delhi hospital

"The fire broke out around 11.05 am in an air-condition unit. Around 18 fire tenders rushed to the spot," a fire official said.


"Till now we have no information about any casualty," the official added.



Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in east Delhi is the largest hospital run by the government of Delhi. It has a 1,000-bed capacity.
