Don't be surprised if the name and the swinging cane chair outside confuse you into thinking this is a furniture store. The place is warm and welcoming and there are comfortable sofas. The cane furniture is painted black with zebra-striped cushions. It is a perfect spot to sip coffee and observe the bustle of North Main Road. The eatery is quite small and has an earthy look with dark brown and cream walls. The floor has wooden-finish mats, low-lying tables in dark wood, candles and a miniature statue of Buddha. Check out the cane-and-jute lanterns dangling from the ceiling and the large painting of a reclining Buddha in vibrant colours.

The instrumental jazz music also uplifts your spirits.

We tried: The menu includes salads, fresh fruit juices, sandwiches as well as tea and coffee. We ordered the Circulatory (Rs 50) and Natural Grape Wine (Rs 55). The Circulatory was a refreshing concoction of orange and strawberry juices, served in a wine glass.u00a0 The Grape Wine had black grapes blended with ice and a dash of sugar. Fascinated by the name, we tried out the Fruit Tabla (Rs 80). It included freshly-cut fruits and the dish was topped with chocolate sauce. There was a tempting mix of bananas, kiwi, watermelon, peaches, strawberries, grapes and oranges.

From the sandwiches, we went for the Mexican Pyramid (Rs 20), which was a mix of onion, tomato, corn, cheese, chili, avocado and lettuce. We ordered the multi-grain bread (Rs 30) and Edam cheese (Rs 20) to go with it. The combination was delicious.

Service: Service gets a ten on ten. The staff is ready to answer all your queries. The food is served promptly and the owner is always open to feedback.
