Responding to queries on the state government's decision to ask the company shift its project, following opposition from locals on grounds of environment, away from Pune, Chavan said there was a lot of misconception about the project.
"There is an attempt to take this project away from the state", Chavan said. The relocation issue is open, he added.
The Chief Minister said a committee has been appointed to go into the case and it will submit its report soon. He appealed to political parties not to politicise the issue as it could affect investment climate in the state.
