Ganesh Chaturthi is all about welcoming the elephant god with fanfare and pampering your sweet tooth with the traditional modak. But if you are bored of the same ol' variety on offer, check out this 58-year old sweet shop that spoils you for choice with their innovative modaks available in flavours such as Chocolate (Rs 320 per kg), Mango (Rs 260 per kg), Mawa (Rs 220 per kg), Malai (Rs 260 per kg) and Kaju (Rs 400 per kg). If you do not mind letting go of your diet restrictions during the festive season, opt for the yummy fried modaks or stick to low-fat steamed ones. Their other specialties are Boondis (Rs 110 per kg) and Malai Rimzim (Rs 240 per kg), which sell like hot cakes.
