This Chinese product is set to take the love under the shade to new highs, as the Delhi weather would provide you umpteen opportunities to get cosy with your beloved in this sweltering heat and sudden heavy rains.
Lover Umbrella, a new variety of shades that are available only in pink colour, is already flooding the Indian markets.

The comprehensive covers have enough space for two people and can be an ideal buy for those who are looking to stir the passion with some comfort.
Delhi's famous wholesale market Sadar Bazaar is blooming with pink Lover Umbrellas that can easily accommodate two people under it.

Though these Chinese fancy umbrellas are costlier than the conventional umbrellas, the reason behind its soaring demand is not due to the rise in mercury but the unique features it offers.

"Demand for these umbrellas is increasing rapidly. Traditional umbrellas cost around Rs 200-400 but we are selling these umbrellas at Rs 600. We have got huge orders from retailers at several Delhi malls who are also expecting a huge market for the Lover Umbrella," said Gopal Singh, a whole seller of umbrellas at Sadar Bazar.

At the moment, Lover Umbrella is only available in pink colour but in view of the huge demand, shopkeepers have asked the manufacturers for variety in colours. The umbrella is becoming a craze among young couples who are buying it specially to take a walk with their better half.

"Umbrellas will be in demand at least for the next three months so we can earn good margin," said SS Batta, another whole seller at the central Delhi market.

Aditya Khandelwal, a college student who bought the parasol, said: "I saw somebody with the Lover Umbrella at India Gate, I asked him from where he bought it and got one for me the very next day. It would be ideal for a walk in the rain at India Gate lawns in the rainy season."
