Parents of Shobhit Modi who was stabbed to death in Vasant Kunj (north) area by unknown persons last week, approached the local police on Monday and complained against the father of his girlfriend.

According to a source a written complaint was furnished with the local police by the deceased's parents.
"Shobhit's parents have alleged that he (Shobhit) was being threatened by father of Sana (name changed), a student of DPS, RK Puram.
Sana's father is presently working as a general manager at a hotel in New Friends Colony area in south Delhi. He had asked the deceased to stay away from his daughter," said a senior police official.
"Let us interrogate Sana's father. Only then we can comment on the issue," said a police official. Meanwhile, a police source said that cops are also interrogating vagabonds in the area in search of a lead.

Shobhit (20), an IT student, was found stabbed to death near his home in Vasant Kunj on Thursday at around 9.30pm. He was discovered by a security guard.
