The vehicle rammed into a bus stand injuring 12 others
One person was killed and 12, including three women, were injured when a speeding Blueline bus rammed into a bus stand at Mori Gate in early hours of Sunday.

The police said that the bus plying on the route number 221 was coming from ISBT Anand Vihar when its driver lost control near Mori Gate and hit a group of passengers waiting at the bus stop.
"One person identified as Payara Singh (28), a resident of Shahjahanpur was killed and 12 injured. Among the injured was a Delhi police head constable Hardeep Singh, who was posted with the police's quick response team.
The injured were admitted in Sushruta Trauma Centre and Hindu Rao Hospital. The driver fled from the spot," said Deputy Commissioner of Police I.B. Rani. The government has ordered an inquiry into incident.
Killer tanker
FOUR persons were crushed to death and two critically injured after a speeding water tanker hit an auto rickshaw and then rammed into a bus stand at Satya Niketan near Dhaula Kuan on April 24.
A senior police official said that the errant tanker driver was trying to overtake a DTC bus when the incident happened. "The driver tried to overtake a DTC bus but lost control and hit a TSR before crushing people. The victims were rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre and Safdarjung hospital where four were declared brought dead," the official said.
