Aundh design firm scores at India Design Festival

Ticket Design, an Aundh-based product design and development firm that was commended by former president Dr A P J Abdul Kalam for their design of the Dental Scaler Machine, has scoredu00a0 yet another hit.



Ticket Design's entry at the India Design Festival is an art installation that emphasises the ned to join our hands and hearts to make sustainable environment a reality.

The installation, made of cloth and bamboo, shows human figures standing with their hands held. The space between them assumes the shape of a human heart.

Nishma Pandit, a team member, said the idea was to relate design to the environment. "We thought of using simple things to show people coming together for a better environment and a better future for all of us."

Heads and Hearts is being showcased at the festival at the Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (Yashada).
