The Guide caught up with Take 4, the Mumbai-based Jazz outfit that is all set to make musical inroads in Pune. Comprising of Micheal Gracious (bass guitar), Clinton Rodriks (keyboard), Roger Meenazes (drums) and Anand Eaity (saxophone), the band will be joined by Simone Jehangir, a Jazz singer from the city, for their upcoming performance. Simone Jehangir will perform with Take 4Formed six years back, Take 4 has toured various parts of the country and performed at popular hotels, events and concerts. Put together, the band members have more than two decades of experience as musicians. Take 4 performs a good mix of covers and originals. We play a lot of classic alongwith modern and mainstream numbers. We give listeners an opportunity to listen to a blend of music spanning several generations. There will also be pop music on public demand, says Michael. The show will feature popular numbers from musicians like Herbie Hancock, Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra.
