Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is currently presenting Union Budget 2024 in the Lok Sabha
The FM prior to presenting the budget 2024 posed with the red 'Bahi Khata' along with MoS Pankaj Chaudhary and other senior officials.
FM Sitharaman also met President Droupadi Murmu as per tradition and briefed her about the provisions of the budget.
During her seventh budget presentation, FM Nirmala Sitharaman said that the Union Budget 2024 has nine priorities.
The budget session of Parliament began on July 22 and, according to schedule, will end on August 12.
