Western Railway resumes unreserved tickets on 33 special trains

Tickets will be offered on a limited number of services considering increasing cases

Western Railway resumes unreserved tickets on 33 special trains

Three of the services with unreserved ticketing are mail/express trains, while the rest are passenger trains. File pic

“Out of the 65 services, 12 services are of Mumbai Central division, 13 are of Vadodara division, 22 are of Ratlam division, eight are of Ahmedabad division, six are of Rajkot division while four are of Bhavnagar division. Out of these 33 trains, 29 trains will be of passenger train category while the remaining three will be of mail/express category,” he added.


The ones in Maharashtra include Mumbai Central-Valsad, Nandurbar-Bhusaval and Surat Bhusaval. Presently, only journey tickets will be issued for these trains. Also, no season tickets will be issued for them.
