Several districts across Maharashtra recorded single-digit minimum temperatures on Wednesday, marking the strongest winter spell of the season and one of the coldest November mornings in over a decade

Mumbai woke up to a chilly surprise on Wednesday, experiencing its coldest November morning in over a decade.
The temperature at the Santacruz observatory dipped to 16.2°Celsius, a significant drop of at least 5°C below the usual minimum for this time of year, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). This marked the coldest night of the season yet, beating the previous low recorded earlier in the week. On Tuesday, the minimum temperatures dropped to 17.4°C.
