Vikhroli: 22-year-old stabs man to death in road rage; arrested

An argument broke out after victim’s car overtook accused who was riding a scooter; accused pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim. The verbal spat escalated quickly, and in a fit of rage, Jaiswal pulled out a large knife and stabbed Zeeshan multiple times. The Pant Nagar police have arrested a 22-year-old man for killing a man in a road rage incident which took place on Saturday (May 24) at around 2.30 pm near the Vikhroli Traffic Chowky. Police said that the accused, Suraj Jaiswal, was riding with a woman on his Activa when a car overtook them. Following the incident, Jaiswal confronted the victim, identified as Zeeshan, and an argument broke out.

According to eyewitnesses, the verbal spat escalated quickly, and in a fit of rage, Jaiswal pulled out a large knife and stabbed Zeeshan multiple times. Zeeshan collapsed on the spot and succumbed to his injuries before help could arrive. The accused and the woman accompanying him fled the scene immediately after the attack.
